very close fight between the 2. I think Marquez is the closest fighter to beating Pacquaio , but he definitely wasn’t robbed. If anything, Manny was waiting for Marquez to throw more punches like he usually does but of course both fighters were fighting more conservative. Both were waiting to capitalize on mistakes. Manny clearly based Marquez’s strategy on the previous fights which is why Marquez was able to land more punches. If these two fought again, i think Pacquaio would be more prepared. That fight though is what the Pacquaio-Mayweather fight will look like, but probably with less action. Like Marquez tonight, Mayweather is more of a counter-puncher than an initiator. Manny’s next fight shall be in May and i plan to be there, i just hope Mayweather doesn’t pussy out because i’d rather see Manny thrash Mayweather than to fight Marquez for the 4th time.
